MY APPROACH
My goal is for you to be empowered to live the life you have always wanted to live, be fully present and be your best self.
Regardless of theoretical approach the most important part of therapy is that one is able to feel safe and supported and one is able to explore freely both the positive and shadow or negative parts of themselves. It is important to me to see each person individually in their own light and and I will work with you to develop a plan that is unique and right for you. I am flexible in adapting to what someone needs in the moment, whether it is deeper emotional work or more concrete, problem-solving strategies. My steady patience has allowed me to be particularly successful in connecting and helping people with engrained dysfunctional patterns.
My practice is grounded in the psychodynamic and relational theory and ideas. That means that I believe:
Deep listening and patience is of utmost importance in therapeutic work.
It is often through the process of really being deeply heard that one is able to reflect, develop better self-awareness and make better choices in life.

- early relationships play a role in how we live and relate to people in the present.
- there are unconscious factors that influence our current behavior.
- within the therapeutic relationship one is able to heal and fully be present in one's life. Often clients bring pre-existing scripts, fears or templates into relationships and in particular to the therapeutic relationship. The exploration of these scripts in therapy allows an in vivo safe way to understand and explore one’s own reactions to people and situations and thus be able to make better life choices.
